XPAND IT ACHIEVES IR&D CERTIFICATION
2011-10-17 - Xpand IT has been certified by the EIC (International Certification Company) by Standard NP4457: 2007 for the Research and Development of Innovative Solutions.
Starting in March 2011, Xpand IT has been building a Research, Development and Innovation (IR&D) department from the ground up, with the objective of slowly shifting the horizon into productization. This was a very natural evolution from our XPAGILE project. Since then, everything has been set up, from the internal grounds for the innovation processes, innovation policies, internal creativity challenges and workshops to the department code name, which was baptized as the Xpand Labs.
A Dream come True
The Paulo Condado Foundation established in April 2011, launched its website last August 25, 2011. It’s a successful and innovative project, with worthy causes which Xpand IT is associated.
The main goals of the Foundation were the reason that led Xpand IT to join this project, contributing with our expertise through a social partnership.
PENTAHO BI SUITE 4.0.. HAS JUST ARRIVED!
Pentaho, the market leader in Business Intelligence Opensource software, just annouced the new Pentaho BI Suite 4. This new version gives more autonomy and power to the user through interactive reports, ability to access data with a new intuitive and attractive inferface. Significant progress in this version is the ability to access, report and analyze data from a greater number of sources, more simply and quickly, which makes this application completely user-driven.
MAIS FUTEBOL HD APP DEVELOPED IN ASSOCIATION WITH XPAND IT
Media Capital Multimédia, in a partnership with Xpand IT, has released last May 4, 2011 the first iPad application for a media company in the sports area in Portugal. The Mais Futebol HD application for iPad is displayed in an exclusive, interactive and high definition gallery. The release of Mais Futebol was sucha a success, that the application went directly to the top of App Store in the release day.

PORTO EDITORA RELEASES MOBILE APPLICATIONS DEVELOPED BY XPAND IT
Porto Editora released the mobile versions of Diciopédia and ten diccionaries for iPhone, which are available for download since January 1, 2011. All iPhone applications were developed by Xpand IT in the Development Center at Viana do Castelo. Applications can be downloaded from iTunes Store.
XPAND IT OPENBRAVO SOLUTION IS DGCI CERTIFIED
On the 31 January 2011 Xpand IT was certified for its Openbravo solution for the national market, becoming the first company to obtain the certification for this solution in order to comply with the rules of the ordinance no. 363 / 2010, which regulates Softwarte Certification and thus obtaining the certification no. 30 by DGCI.
