MIG Editor has been updated to version 3 earlier this week, and the new version brings even more functionality to the people who relly on the software every day, making their job easier and faster.
The MIG Editor is a geographical metadata editor that implements a subset of the 19115, 19119 and 19139 ISO formats, based in the Portuguese Metadata Profile and INSPIRE requirements. It relies solely on the following open source technologies.
WHAT'S NEW IN THIS VERSION?

NATIVE BROWSER PREVIEW
The HTML View embeds the operating system native browser (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc...) while previewing the XML records.

SUBDIRECTORIES SUPPORTED IN THE RECORD BROWSER
Records can now be organized in directories.

GRAPHICAL MAP FOR GEOGRAPHIC EXTENT SELECTION
Geographical extensions can be selected from a map.
