Instead of reimplementing them again and again Xpand IT created a set of base processes and best-practices that can potentially be used in every SOA project. Xpand IT's SOA framework has been evolving to a point where the focus of the effort is now the implementation of the actual EAI processes. With this framework you'll be able to:

• Get out of the box logging and monitoring your ESB activity, persisted in a relational database, allowing to track detailed flow of each one of your services;
• Have a SOA governance infrastructure with service catalog, service policy and service life-cycle control: know exactly which are your services, which versions are available in which environment and who is authorized to invoke them;
• Control service usage, configure throttling and sequencing of asynchronous requests: get to know who is calling your services, be able to establish usage limits for your ESB;
• Automatically republish failed service requests: be able to easily reprocess a failed service request, either manually, or by configuring our framework to do it automatically;
• Management of SLAs for service invocation: Define what is the expected average time to a service request be completed, including rising alerts when SLA’s thresholds are reached.

Xpand IT Goal Oriented BPM

Enterprises increasingly need to automate business processes that evolve in response to unpredictable business scenarios. This can be difficult to accomplish using traditional BPM approaches that tend themselves to static and structured processes. Goal Oriented BPM (also known as Dynamic BPM) exists to address this problem.
Goal oriented BPM has been a common requirement in many of the integration projects performed by Xpand IT. Having that common requirement in mind, Xpand IT has created a software package that enables process execution plans to be assembled and executed “on the fly” from individual processes templates.
Our solution is 100% based on open source frameworks, such as JBoss Application Server, jBpm (Business Process Management), Drools (Rules Engine) , Smooks (Data Transformation) and JBoss ESB, but can be easily integrated with any integration platform, commercial or open source. We provide services such as dynamic workflow generation based on business metadata (workflow decomposition + sequencing), content transformation, rules-based validation, entity and product mapping, workflow jeopardy management and web-based management.
