Solution Overview

Xpand RSN is a comprehensive solution based on RFID technology that allows retailers to increase the performance of their supply chain. Using Item Level Tracking with RFID UHF Gen2 Class1 technology, it’s possible to track all the orders directly from the suppliers to the store. Like a sensor network, Xpand RSN is able to interact with the items in every point of the supply chain, being possible to measure, optimize and detect bottlenecks in existing processes. There are optional RSN modules for specific business processes, like inventory, marketing activities and new channels to communicate with customers, and others.

The solution is completely EPC compliant. All the software and RFID enable devices support the EPC standards, namely ALE (Application Level Events) and EPC Gen2 Class1.

RSN Base Server is responsible for the business logic and business rules of the solution. It includes also features to manage and control all the existing Hardware (RFID Readers, Reading Tunnels, RFID Gateways, Mobile Readers, RFID printers, and others).
