YOUR ROLE

As an Atlassian Project Manager you will deliver valuable help to our customers in their organization’s processes continuous improvements. Your main role will be to manage Atlassian projects, ensuring team monitoring and communication with the client. 

You will play a key role as a digital transformation envagelist by inspiring the stakeholders of organizations to renew their mindset.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Meet with clients to understand business rules and translate them to functional and technical requirements.
  • Manage Atlassian projects, ensuring proper team monitoring and communication with the client, guaranteeing the best practices of XPAgile.
  • Monitor ongoing opportunities, participate in pre-sales meetings and technically support sales processes (e.g., demo of Atlassian products for customers).
  • Participate and produce content within the unit’s marketing initiatives related to Atlassian tools.
  • Participate in requirements specifications, design deliverables, sprint planning, review an retrospective.
  • Perform configuration and customization into Atlassian’s platforms such as Jira, Confluence or Jira Service Desk.
  • Participate in development of solutions and /or workflows, execute testing, support for team formation and documentation.
  • Search for apps and plugins from Atlassian partners that can accelerate the development and implementation of several user stories or improvements.
  • Make use of the industry best practices at all stages of solution development until the final deployment into the Atlassian’s platforms.
  • Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for project design, support, and practice development efforts.

SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • MSc / BSc in Engineering
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to work with team members to gather and understand business requirements and translate into optimal JIRA / Confluence solutions
  • Team management experience
  • Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as organization’s functional organization and responsibilities.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and approaches such as scrum
  • Experience with web services (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, etc.)
  • Strong experience in using Maven, Jenkins, GIT, JIRA or equivalent tools
  • Willingness and desire to be a Atlassian Certified professional
  • Team player and problem solving skills

This is applicable not only to Software Development Cycle processes but to any kind of process of mid/large size organization.

YOUR ROLE

As an Atlassian System Administrator you will manage installation and backend configuration, monitor diagnostics, troubleshoot system performance, and partner with other application administrators to keep Atlassian products ecosystem secure, up-to-date and performing optimally for all teams.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Operational support of all Atlassian applicational systems
  • Coordinate and assist software upgrades for Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Service Desk.
  • Resolve application performance and related problems on Atlassian stack
  • Create / maintain Confluence spaces, JIRA projects, workflows, custom fields, screen, permission and notification schemes
  • Manage the Confluence environment and create spaces, pages, page templates as necessary
  • Apply built-in customization and third party add-ons to extend JIRA / Confluence functionality as needed, verifying dependencies and restrictions.
  • Ensure availability of all Atlassian tools based on defined SLAs
  • Handle service ticket queue to ensure timely resolution for end-user issues

SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE

  • MSc / BSc in Engineering
  • Experience or advanced knowledge of the Atlassian Suite and features
  • Strong understanding of general administration and configuration with JIRA and Confluence
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic, and agile environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to solve problems at their root, thinking at a systems level and understanding the broad context of the tools usability and performance
  • Ability to prioritize across multiple requests and meet deadlines
  • Willingness and desire to be a Atlassian Certified professional
  • Team player and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
