Talent Acquisition Team Lead

The Human Resources area is concerned with the entire journey of employees (and potential employees) from the first contact with Xpand IT.

It ensures that there is a stringent recruitment process and a welcoming onboarding so that everyone is well received and integrated. It is responsible for properly managing all benefits, partnerships and protocols and to energise the Xpanders community, always with the aim of promoting Xpand IT human culture, based on strong values.

The main objective is to create lasting and trusting relationships that guarantee each Xpander’s personal and professional development.

YOUR ROLE

As a Talent Acquisition Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Talent Acquisition team, while serving as a point of contact between this team and different interlocutors: the HR Director, Business Unit Managers and other department members (e.g., Talent Engagement, Marketing, Payroll, among others).

You will be responsible for assigning tasks and monitoring the team in various end-to-end recruitment tasks. You will ensure that a good recruitment experience for candidates and Business Unit Managers is being provided. You should be aware of the market and new recruitment trends, showing a critical spirit and the ability to suggest and implement recruitment strategies and new initiatives. Your role will also be to discover new channels and ways to reach candidates. You will be a leader and an example, striving for precision and attention to detail in every task.

Your daily activities will include:

  • Coordinating and guiding the Talent Acquisition team
  • Coordinating and guiding tasks
  • Managing the team’s KPIs
  • Being the point of contact between the Human Resources Director and the Talent Acquisition team
  • Collaborating with Business Unit Managers to monitor the units’ evolution and needs
  • Suggesting and implementing Talent Acquisition strategies and communication plans
  • Being the contact bridge between the Talent Acquisition team and the other Xpand IT departments
  • Working directly with the Marketing team to develop brand awareness strategies and recruitment initiatives
  • Ensuring that the Talent Acquisition team provides a good recruitment experience to candidates and Business Unit Managers
  • Monitoring and giving feedback on the team’s gathering requirements with the Business Unit Managers
  • Using, discovering and suggesting channels to reach candidates
  • Ensuring that the recruitment databases are kept up to date
  • Supervising and ensuring that the team keeps the Business Units Managers up to date about ongoing recruitment processes.
  • Suggesting and participating in various recruitment initiatives
  • Ensuring that the recruitment plan is met
SKILLS YOU NEED TO HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in HR Management, Psychology, Social Sciences or similar
  • Experience (+ 5 years) in the HR Area/ IT Recruitment
  • Experience (+ 2 years) as a Team Leader
  • Experience recruiting technical and non-technical profiles 
  • Experience using LinkedIn and other Social Networks
  • Communication and leadership skills 
  • Ability to focus and give attention to detail
  • Professionalism, organisation and sense of responsibility
  • Confident decision-maker and ability to work independently
  • Intellectual curiosity and innovative spirit, keen on doing research and benchmarking
  • Ability to analyse and solve problems
  • Ability and ease in building empathy and establishing constructive/collaborative working relationships
  • English proficiency
