EGEAC and Xpand IT have developed an online platform for the Sardine Creativity Competition – Festas de Lisboa. The number of applications has increased in the past years, and it was crucial to have a tool to manage processes and interact with participants.
Xpand IT – a global company specialised in Enterprise Mobility, Business Intelligence, Big Data and Middleware, announces a partnership with EGEAC at Sardine Creativity Competition’s online Platform development. This is the 5th edition of the competition that challenges participants to create a sardine that represents the teaser “My life could be a sardine”. The five most creative projects will be awarded. The project’s primary goal was to develop an online portal for proposals submission and management using some of the most recognised Microsoft solutions such as Microsoft Azure.
An Innovative and technological project that allows proposals management and classification is crucial to keep the growth rate. The competition receives more than 20.000 applications from more than 50 Countries so it is a lot to manage. This platform is a great tool for submitting and selecting proposals. In addition, it is also used to manage all the information related to the competition and to create a gallery to show all the candidates’ proposals. Xpand IT supported us during the process and their involvement, knowledge and enthusiasm have been critical factors for the success of this project.
